About Imam Bilal

Imam Bilal ibn Yusuf is a dedicated Islamic scholar, educator, and spiritual leader based in the Bay Area. He is a graduate of the rigorous seven-year ʿĀlimiyyah program at DarusSalam Seminary in Lombard, Illinois, and holds academic degrees in psychology and political science, allowing him to approach guidance with both spiritual depth and human understanding.
He currently serves as the Imam of the Islamic Center of Walnut Creek (Darul-Islam Mosque) and is pursuing postgraduate studies in Islamic Law (Fiqh) and Islamic Theology (ʿAqeedah). Imam Bilal has studied at several esteemed institutions, developing strong foundations in classical Arabic, Islamic law, and contemporary applications.
Through his leadership, teaching, and community work, Imam Bilal is committed to bridging timeless Islamic wisdom with the realities of modern life, offering thoughtful, faith-centered guidance rooted in compassion and clarity.
